Xiaomi had launched the Mi router 4C in India on January. Mi router 4C is similar to the Mi router 3C. It comes in white color and has 4 antennas. It comes with Built-in repeater mode which helps in extending the coverage range. It has 64MB of RAM and can connect up-to 64 devices. Mi WiFi app let's us to view and manage settings.
Unboxing
Inside the box we have the Mi router, adapter and manual. Taking a closer look at the router, it has Mi logo on the centre. On top it has Reset button, 2 LAN ports,1 WAN port and power supply port. It has 4 antennas.
Setup
After connecting it to power supply, connect LAN and then take your smartphone and
- Download Mi WiFi app from playstore.
- Open the application.
- Select Setup new Router.
- It will automatically detect the router.
- Select a name and password.
- Click finish.
- Open Wifi settings and connect to it.

If you don't have an Mi account register first. If you don't have account you will not be able to view or manage the router.After signing in inside you have all the settings and list of device connected.
- On top we have the upload speed, download speed and network status.
- Then below we have a list of connected devices.
- Then on the bottom we have toolbox.
- Inside toolbox we have WiFi optimization, firewall, settings,updates.
- Then below we have few more tools lets check it out.
- Inside we have QOS,Health mode and schedule reboot.

- Inside this we can limit the bandwidth.
Health Mode
In this we can select time for the router to be turned off and turned on!! That's great.
Schedule Reboot
- In this we can select a time for the router to reboot.
Updates
In this we get updates for the router.
Then we also have Firewall, WiFi optimization.
