Bajaj has now increased the price of the Dominar by Rs.2000. Bajaj expected to sell around 10,000 units of Dominar every month but they managed to sell only about 1500 - 2000 units a month. Even though the Dominar price is increased it is the most affordable 400-cc bike in the country with a lot of features like Twin channel ABS & LED headlights. Bajaj Dominar 400 is based on the Duke 390.
Now the Bajaj Dominar is priced at Rs.1,58,275 (Ex-Showroom) for the ABS version & Rs.1,44,113 (Ex-Showroom) for the Non-ABS version. Which means both ABS & Non-ABS variant gets increased by Rs.2000. However Bajaj had announced that it had discontinued Non-ABS variant because of low demand.
As of 2018 the bike got new color scheme options,gold alloy wheels as standard.
