The phone will come in 2 variants Qualcomm & Spreadtrum chipsets inside. The model with Qualcomm chipset will cost approximately RS 1,800. The Spectrum variant will cost approximately RS 1,740. The phones will be having a basic hardware, it will have a 2.4inch screen, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage with expandable microSD slot. the phone will have a VGA front cam. Apart from this the phone is also said to have wifi, NFC, GPS. The photo of the device have been leaked & it has a button for MYJIO, JIO apps, JIOmusic app, JIO cinema.

When it launches it will the cheapest phone to offer 4G connectivity. It will provide Internet access to all.
