ios has released its latest updates for iphones,ipads. It has new features, the company has updated the text detection feature on ios 11which allows the system to perform better text detection on images & speak it out to users with voiceover feature enabled. Another improvement is the photo description feature, which will find out contents of the image & read it loud to the users. The update also allows larger text size option for people who need bigger text fonts. Now it has also option for smart invert colours, this feature allows the user to invert colours for certain element & leave the rest as it is.

Type to siri

The Type to siri is users can type and ask siri about the information they need. In public places where many users feel they cannot use siri can use this type to siri & find out the answers they need.

Camera formats

Apple has introduced support for HEVC & HEIF which can be enabled from ios 11 settings-camera-formats. When user chooses this option the new videos will be saved in h.265(HEVC) instead of h.264 & new images will be stored in HEIF format instead of JPG, this is expected to save 50% of the storage space
