India's first Aquatic Rainbow Technological Park(ARTP) in Chennai. It has facility for Ornamental fish equipped with multi-species hatchery & live feed culture. It will be operational in next 3 months. After it has opened it will fulfill the requirement of industry for producing a high value aquarium fish. It is being developed by (FCRI) Fisheries College & Research Institute, Ponneri. 10-crore is being funded by Tami Nadu innovation initiatives of state government. it will be equipped with advanced infrastructure & Technical expertise for boosting production of high-value ornamental fish species. The other thrust areas of the project are the development of new-technology for an uninterrupted supply of live feeds & advanced disease diagnosis & treatment mechanism.
