Redmi Note 9 Pro Impression

Redmi Note 9 Pro is an excellent device it has lot's of features in it. It comes with 5,020mAh battery, quad camera setup on the rear, punched hole display and more. In this blog I share my initial impressions of this device.

Redmi Note 9 Pro comes with 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD display.

It comes with Octa-Core processor with Qualcomm snapdragon 720 chip.

It comes in 2 RAM/ROM options 

6GB RAM/128GB storage or

4GB RAM/64GB storage.

OS

Redmi Note 9 Pro runs on Android 10.

Physical Overview

1. On the front side we have the punched hole display which looks super cool.  Then above it we have the ear piece speaker and next to it on  the right we have white notification light.
2. On the back side we have the quad cam setup in square shape and below it we have the led flash light.
3. On top we have IR blaster and secondary noise cancellation microphone.
4. On the bottom we have 3.5mm headphone jack,usb-c port, mic and speaker.
5. On the right side we have the power button and volume increase and decrease buttons.
6. On the left  side we have the sim tray.
7. So now the finger print scanner has been removed from the back and it is positioned on the side, so the power acts as 2 in 1 button.

Build quality

Both front and back is made up of glass. They come with corning Gorilla glass 5 .  Build quality is top notch, every thing feels premium. As of the  protection they come with  Corning Gorilla glass 5 on both front and back.

Display

It has 6.67-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display.On the screen it has  Punched hole cam  which makes the phone to look even better. The screen brightness was not that great as we have to always keep the brightness above 50%. In outdoor it was a must to keep at full 100% brightness.

Speaker

It has its speaker placed on the bottom right side. while watching videos or playing games we might cover the the speaker area. The sound quality was ok.

Finger print scanner

Finger print scanner is now moved from the back side to the  right side, so the power button acts as finger print scanner as well. Finger print scanner was quick.

Camera

It has square shaped quad cam setup on the rear. The cam bump is slightly outside, while placing on tables or some where we should be careful as  we might end up scratching the sensors or sometimes it may even break I guess. As of the main sensor it comes with 48MP.

On the front it has 16MP sensor, and it can shoot slow-mo video @ 120FPS that's pretty cool feature!

It comes with Pro color option where photos will be slighty better I beleive.

Gaming

I played two games call of duty and Pubg mobile and I played continuously for 30 minutes and the gaming experience was brilliant, no lag but I was able to feel the heat near the camera area.
