Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi A2 aka Mi 6x in an event which is scheduled to take place in China on April 25. On that launch Xiaomi is also expected to launch an budget segment smartphone S2 with dual cameras. The spec of the device has also been leaked.
Xiaomi S2 Spec
As per the leak the budget smartphone S2 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor & there will be a 16GB of in built storage variant. No details regarding the RAM of the device.The smartphone will have an aspect ratio of 18:9 & it will have a HD+ display. Moving on to camera at the rear it will have an 12MP Sony IMX486 sensor or the 12MP Omnivision OV12A10 sensor & for the second cam it is expected to have a 5MP Samsung S5K5E8 sensor. The same Samsung 5MP S5K5E8 may also be on the front camera. 3800mAh battery is expected to be paced on the phone. The leak also suggest that release region for this phone will be India & China.
