In a bid to expand its India portfolio, UM Motorcycles has launched two new models – Renegade Classic and Renegade Commando Mojave. With the addition of these two new products it now totally has 4 bikes in India.
The new Adventure bike
UM Motorcycles will showcase products from their global line-up at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo and they are expected to enter the adventure motorcycles space soon after that, in the Indian market.
The motorcycle that is expected to come to India is the 2017 DSR II. The motorcycle is available with three engine options internationally - 124cc, 198cc and 223cc. We guess that it will not be launching all the three models in India.India is expected to get the 223cc engine variant which is capable of putting out 15.74hp and 16.65Nm of torque. It comes with disc brakes at the front at drum brakes at the rear.The motorcycle will be manufactured at UM's plant in India.
With the addition of adventure bike it will be competing against the likes of RE's Himilayan.
