Today is the day to book the new JIO phone, which is priced at Rs 0 but users will have to pay Rs 1500 cash deposit, which will be returned. JIO phone bookings has started at 5.30 pm & we can book the phone through the My JIO app or the official JIO website.
The phone has a 2.4-inch QWVGA display & the phone is powered by a 1.2Ghz Spreadtrum SPRD 9820A/QC8905 dual core processor. The phone offers 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card. It has 2MP rear cam & 0.5MP front cam. It has 2000mAh battery which has been rated to offer 12 hours of talk time, & 15 days of standby time. Connectivity options include 4G VOLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, wifi, NFC, FM radio, USB 2.0, & GPS.
The phone also comes with voice-enabled search with JIO assistant that allows you to open apps & search on Google & so on. The phone can also be connected to TV using JIOmediacable .
The phone includes 22 Indian language support. The phone will be available only in one color as of now. The phone will be available in Black color.
