Apple is planning to launch its watch series 3 later this year. As per the recent report it is said that the watch cab be connected directly to cellular network. If this news is said to be true then this watch can perform many tasks without being connected to iPhone. Currently Apple requires its watches to be connected wirelessly to an iPhone to stream musics, to get directions & so on.
It is believed that Intel will be supplying the LTE modems for the new watch.
Apple's watch has been selling very good in the past, Apple watch remains a small part of Apple's overall revenue . CEO Tim Cook also said that sales of the device grew more than 50 percent in the third quarter.
