BMW G310R is a 300cc bike which is having expectations, first we believed that the bike would be launched during NOV-DEC 2016, but the company told that the bike will be released in mid 2017 then they again postponed it to end of 2017. Now once again it is a sad news that
BMW is not going to launch the bike this year. The main reason is
BMW is planning to setup dealership network in key cities.
BMW started its operation in India in April this year. The German manufacturer opened its dealerships in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Pune, & Bangalore earlier this year & will be further expanding its operation across the country. When they launch G310R it will be interesting to see how they price this machine.
G310R is a naked street motorcycle that has been developed through a joint venture between TVS &
BMW. The motorcycle will be manufactured in India at TVS plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
The bike is powered by a 313cc engine that will be producing 34 bhp of power & 28 NM of torque, it is paired to a 6 speed constant-mesh transmission.
