RedmiBook Impressions|Great 1

Planning to buy a laptop, well then take a look at RedmiBook as it lightweight, good display, costs around 50k and comes with graphic card.

Specs

Redmibook comes with 13-inch FHD display.

It has i5 processor (8th gen) with 8GB RAM & has 256GB SSD (There is also a 512GB variant).

Redmibook also comes with Nvidia Geforce  MX250 graphic card in it.

As of the ports it has 

1. 3 USB interface
2. 2 USB 3.0 interface and 
3. 1 USB 2.0
4. 3.5mm headphonejack
5. 1 HDMI port

There is No Web camera.

It comes Only in one color Moonlight silver

Comes with pre-installed Windows 10.

There are totally 2 variants i5 processor and i7 processor. The one which I have is the i5 variant with 256GB of storage.

Design

Design is simple and neat. It has got black finish on the screen. The Keyboard keys are also in black. Track pad is nice and big, placed on the center. RedmiBook looks similar to Macbook Pro. RedmiBook feels premium.

Display

It has 13-inch FHD+ display. The display is thin. The display is good and nice to watch videos.

Processor

It comes with i5 processor (8th Gen) with 8GB RAM and comes in 2 variants 256GB SSD and 512GB SSD.

The one which I have is the 256GB variant. It comes with Nvidia Geforce MX250 graphic card in it.

Speaker

The speaker is located on the bottom. The sound quality is good while watching videos. But while editing without boosting the volume in premiere pro I found it bit low.

Battery

Redmi claims 10 hours of battery life for normal usage. I used premiere pro a lot and for that I got a battery life of about 1 hour 30 min to 2 hours max.

Performance

Performance of the laptop was good.I have been editing a lot and so far the performance was good. I have been using Premiere Pro, and Photoshop and it was fast. I switched from PC to this laptop, initially for 2 to 3 days I found some difference but now I'm used to it and feel comfortable using this. I personally feel that 512GB variant would be better, because still I have not yet installed many stuffs and at the moment I have 20GB of free space left. 

Impressions

Simple and neat design, looks like Macbook Pro. Weighs 1.5Kgs and is easy to carry around. Remember there is no SD card slot, No webcam and No Ethernet port in this laptop.

Remember there is No SD card slot, No webcam and No Ethernet port in this laptop.  It is fast, great for watching videos, browsing and editing. For video editing the battery drains super fast. For normal browsing and other stuff the battery is solid.
