Fantastic IPL opener!

IPL 2018 has kick started the first match was played between CSK & MI, CSK won the match.
CSK won the toss & Dhoni elected to bowl first. MI made 165/4 in which Suriya Kumar Yadav,Ishan Kishan, Krunal Pandya all the three scoring 40 odd runs. At the end of first innings Hardik Pandya on the last ball got cramps & it was doubt whether he would take the field for the second innings. But he came & bowled his quota of 4 overs & took 3 wickets giving away 24 runs.
Needing 166 to win from 20 overs Shane Watson & Ambati Rayudu opened the batting. Watson was the first to return to the pavilion making 16 off 14 deliveries which included a four & six. Raina joined Ambati Rayudu. Raina after facing 5 deliveries got out to Hardik Pandya trying to fetch boundary on the last ball off the power play. Of the first six overs CSK made 42-2. After that wickets started falling in regular intervals.
For CSK it was Bravo show where he came in & started smashing sixes & fours all around the ground. Bravo started hitting as soon as he came to the crease. He smashed his first 6 of the match in his 3rd ball. 47 runs were still required in the last three overs where again Bravo hit 20 runs off McClenghan & smashed 3 sixes in the 19th over & made the equation 7 runs off 7 balls & got out in the last ball of the 19th over. So the equation now was 7 runs off 6 balls where CSK had lost 9 wickets & Kedar Jadhav who earlier got injury & was retired-hurt came to bat & thanks to calmness where he smashed a 6 & 4 to take CSK over the winning line. Kedar Jadhav made 24 off 22 balls which included 2 sixes & a four.

So for CSK Bravo was the highest run getter with 68 off 30 deliveries where he smashed 7 sixes & 3 fours. Apart from Bravo Kedar & Rayudu were the other two batsman scoring 20 odd runs.
For Mumbai Indians Hardik Pandya & the debutante Mayank Markande were the two economical bowlers who bowled their quota of four overs & gave away 24 & 23 runs respectively taking 3 wickets each.
Next CSK will be returning to their den Chennai where they are set to plat the first match after two years. They will face KKR on 10th April.
MI will travel to Hyderabad to play against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 12th April.
