CSK Wins| another finish by MSD

On Wednesday 24th match of 2018 IPL was played by  CSK & RCB. The match was a thriller. A total of 400 odd runs were scored in that match. The match was played at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. RCB batted first & scored 205-8 in their 20 overs. With Quinton de Kock scoring 53 off 37 balls, ABD scored 68 off 30 balls & quick 32 by Mandeep Singh off 17 balls made RCB cross 200. For Chennai Tahir, DJ Bravo, & SN Thakur took 2 wickets each. But Bravo & Imran Tahir had economy rate less than 9 where as the other CSK bowlers had economy rate above 10. Imran Tahir was smashed by ABD in his second over where ABD hit the longest six of the  tournament sending the ball out of the ground for a distance of 111 meters. Imran Tahir came back strongly & picked up the wicket of ABD & Corey Anderson.
CSK need 206 to win the match off their 20 overs. Watson & Rayudu opened the batting for CSK. Watson was sent back to the pavilion in the last ball of the first over by the left arm spinner Negi. Raina joined Rayudu & hit a couple of fours & gave away his wicket in the final over of the power play. Wickets were falling at regular intervals for CSK & Rayudu was battling it alone after loosing 4 wickets, The Captain Cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni walked in to bat. He showed his power in the second ball of his innings sending ball for a six of the left arm spinner Negi. Both Dhoni Rayudu were striking the ball clearly. In the 13th over Rayudu bought up his 50. CSK needed almost 14 runs each over & both Rayudu & Dhoni kept cool & were keeping up with required run rate. Both scored their half century. Rayudu's innings came to an end by a superb run out by Umesh Yadav. Rayudu scored 82 off 53 balls which included 8 sixes & 3 fours. Bravo joined Dhoni. The match was very tensed but to be honest RCB had the upper hand in the last two overs. 19th over was bowled by Siraj & he bowled excellently in the first 4 deliveries. But the next delivery Dhoni smashed him for a six & the pressure raised on Siraj which made him to bowl 3 continuous wide which made the task easier for CSK. 17 runs were needed in the final over. Corey Anderson bowled the final over was hit for a four & six by DJ Bravo in the first two balls, then Bravo gave a single to Dhoni where Dhoni yet again finished off the match in the style. Dhoni scored 70 off 34 deliveries which included 7 maxium's & a four. Dhoni had a strike rate off 205.88.
With that win CSK are in top of the table.
