OnePlus 5T standstone variant?

OnePlus may launch a new color variant to its latest smartphone OnePlus 5T. Recently OnePlus had posted a video in Twitter. However it is a very short video and no details is provided about the launch in the teaser.We don't know whether the phone will have a white Sandstone back or a black one.

The new color is Sandstone which the company is set to launch on Jan 5,but no confirmation is made yet. OnePlus has released a teaser video on its Twitter account that displays comments from various OnePlus phone owners who profess their love for the sandstone back panel, seen on the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2. Some users say that sandstone is the reason they bought a OnePlus phone, while others claim that it is the best experience for anyone with butterfingers. 

A post on Weibo highlighted the fact that OnePlus would be announcing a new variant of the OnePlus 5T on January 5 in China, with phrases like 'three days left' and 'The Classic returns' mentioned on it.  Ever since switching to a metal back with the OnePlus 3, the company hasn't stopped making sandstone cases for its smartphones. The company had teased the Sandstone finish in a video earlier this year as well.

Last month the company launched the Star Wars edition to its OnePlus 5T.

Spec

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor,it comes in two variants 6GB/8GB RAM.The phone has a dual camera setup at the back with 20 & 16MP sensor on the lenses.On the front it has a 16MP camera.
