Nokia 6 starts receiving Oreo update!

Nokia has announced that the Nokia 6 will start receiving Android Oreo update.Nokia 6 was launched in India last June.It was priced at Rs.14,999

Spec

The phone runs on  Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with Adreno 505 GPU. The smartphone has a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front shooter for selfies. The device offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The users can further expand the storage by adding a microSD card.

 The smartphone is backed by a 3000 mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.

Oreo update

The new update will bring improved power saving, refreshed setting UI & background activity manager.The new update will also improve the low light image quality of the Smartphone.The size of the new update will be 1,659MB. This update  also bring the various Android 8.0 Oreo features to the smartphone which include Picture-in-Picture (PIP), Background limits, Adaptive icons, Companion device pairing, Keyboard navigation, Wide-gamut colour for apps and others.
