Mi Mix 2 launched

Xiaomi Chinese manufacturer has launched its Mi Mix 2 smartphone in India. The Mi MIX 2 will become the latest in a series of bezel-less smartphones in India, joining the likes of Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+ and Note 8, LG Q6, and Vivo V7+; iPhone X and Google Pixel 2 XL will join the list in November too.

Specs

Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 sports a 5.99-inch full-HD (1080x2160 pixels) 18:9 display with a pixel density of 403ppi and a DCI-P3 colour gamut. Mi Mix 2 is a dual sim phone which runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC clocked at up to 2.45GHz and coupled with 6GB of RAM , 128GB storage. It sports a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 sensor with 1.25-micron pixels, 4-axis optical image stabilisation, 5-piece lens, an f/2.0 aperture, as well as a facial recognition technology. On the front, it packs a 5-megapixel camera with the same facial recognition function. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, and USB Type-C.

Only 1 variants in India

6GB RAM/128GB storage which cannot be expanded. Not sure if other variants will be coming to India.

Price & Availability

The smartphone is priced at Rs 35,999. The phone will be available via Flipkart & Mi.com in preview sale on October 17. The phone will compete against Oneplus 5.
