IT Job market crashes.

Hello,
          The IT job markets in India are crashing. Nearly 2 lakh jobs are at stake.The number of layoffs is said to be twice that of last year. Seven of the biggest IT firms in the country are in the process of laying off more than 56,000 engineers. The number is only set to increase. Recently Tech Mahindra fired closely 1000 employees. Cognizant has placed 15000 employees in the lowest category. While snapdeal e-commerce website is planning to cut 30 percent of the workforce as a result of poor growth. Report claims that Infosys is planning to layoff as many as 1000 employees in the coming months. Aircel the telecom operator fired nearly 700 employees in february. Wipro has also reportedly started removing unwanted & excess managers & executives. A Wipro spokesperson  told that the company is planning to remove unnecessary layers such as project leads which the company thinks that they are not needed anymore as a result of automation. Tata Teleservices has fired reportedly 600 employees in sales & other similar sectors.
